Foundations of competitiveness in times of uncertanty
The last three years have been characterised by a new era of turbulence in the global economy caused by the pandemic, the war in Ukraine and shocks in the energy and commodity markets. With inflation at a level we have not seen in decades, the uncertainty that governments, households and businesses have to navigate is even greater.
We believe that in this context, it is essential to know our bases of competitiveness. Therefore, the Basque Country Competitiveness Report 2022 will explore the structural conditions of our economy that will be key to face this paradigm shift and analyze the levers that can contribute to its resilience.
The report will be presented at the Competitiveness Conference to be held on 17 November at 16:00, in the Library of the University of Deusto in Bilbao.
