Building tomorrow's competitiveness and wellbeing
The Basque Country Competitiveness Report is an annual opportunity to analyse the competitiveness of the region and identify its challenges; to detect trends, opportunities and threats; and to influence debates and decision-making processes.
On November 24, with the collaboration of the SPRI Group, the 2021 Competitiveness Conference will take place, where the main conclusions of the report will be presented. The event will take place at the Kursaal in Donostia-San Sebastian and will be streamed live. Will you join us?

Speakers
Andrés Rodríguez-Pose
Andrés Rodríguez-Pose is the Princesa de Asturias Chair and a Professor of Economic Geography at the London School of Economics. He is the Director of the Cañada Blanch Centre LSE.
He is a former Head of the Department of Geography and Environment. He is a past-President of the Regional Science Association International (RSAI) and also served as the Vice-President and Secretary of the European Regional Science Association.
He received Doctorates Honoris Causa from Utrecht University (the Netherlands) and Jönköping University (Sweden), and has been a holder of a European Research Council (ERC) Advanced Grant.
He is the author of nine books and coordinator of another five, and has written more than a hundred articles in the most relevant scientific journals. He is also a collaborator in numerous organizations such as the European Commission, the World Bank or the European Investment Bank.
