Abstract
The edition of the Report "Digital Economy and Society in the Basque Country. DESI 2024" is the second one framed in the context of the Digital Decade established by the European Commission in 2021. The DESI, understood since then as a panel of indicators, is structured around the four key dimensions in the digititalization process: (i) digital skills, (ii) digital infrastructures, (iii), digital transformation of companies and (iv) digitalization of public services. The results of the analysis, which compares the current situation and evolution of the Basque Country with respect to the Member States, show the general progress in the digitalization of the territory but also the most specific aspects on which the main challenges arise.
