Orkestra will be organizing the 2020 symposium of the International Journal of Action Research, which will take place on the 1st and 2nd of October, 2020. In that context, this journal is preparing three different special issues related to the main themes that will be discussed in this meeting and the call for two of them is now open.
The first issue, entitled "Action Research, bridging generations, fields and roles", is inspired by the name of the AR Laboratory at Orkestra, Zubigintza (which means building bridges) and aims to reflect about "bridge building" processes that take pace in different contexts, such as connections between different generations or action researchers and organizations.
The second issue, "Action Research, policy and politics", built on the collaboration of researchers coming from the fields of policy analysis, transition research and territorial development, looks to think about how the societal challenges we are facing require a fundamental, long-term transformations in policy and politics that action research can help materialize.
You can find more information about both of the issues below, including the deadline for abstract submission and the contact email of each special issue.
