Ainhoa is a researcher at Orkestra – Basque Institute of Competitiveness. She holds a PhD in social sciences from the University of Deusto, a BA in Humanities and Business (University of Deusto) and a Master’s in Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (UJI-UNED).
Her main research interests focus on the research-policy interaction or the role of research in policy development, policymaking and governance (both collaborative), territorial strategies, policy analysis and policy learning in the field of regional development and innovation.
She has developed her work at Orkestra mainly in research projects conducted in collaboration with regional and local governments. Before joining Orkestra, she worked in the private sector and in the field of international development cooperation.
