Predoctoral researcher
Maria contributes to projects related to business effectiveness and people’s wellbeing. Her work focuses on analysing how organisations can create more sustainable, competitive and human-development-oriented environments, integrating perspectives linked to innovation, business management and organisational behaviour.
Specifically, her research interests centre on the impact of organisational culture on organisations from a multi-level perspective: at the personal level, analysing its relationship with people’s well-being; at the process level, studying its influence on team performance; and at the organisational level, exploring its contribution to effectiveness.
Career
- Maria holds a degree in International Business from the University of Barcelona
- She also has a Master’s degree in Finance (Corporate Finance) from the University of Lausanne.
- She spent an academic year at Durham University (UK), where she specialised in Behavioural Finance and Game Theory.
- Before joining Orkestra, she worked for a multinational based in Geneva and for a consultancy in Barcelona, experiences that reinforced her interest in research, development and business innovation.
- She currently combines her research work with the development of her doctoral thesis in the field of competitiveness, business and employee wellbeing.
