Postdoctoral researcher
Her research focuses on action research projects for territorial development, with a particular focus on the co-creation of public policies for local economic development. Her interests in this context include public policy, collaborative governance and the transformation and regeneration of liberal democracies, all of which she approaches through an action research perspective.
Career
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communication by the University of Deusto. During her undergraduate studies she undertook an international stay at the Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada, focusing on international affairs and humanities.
- She holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and Business Diplomacy
- In 2026 she obtained her PhD with a thesis titled “Democratic deepening of public policies in praxis: a dialogic conceptual framework for constructing a new political culture”. During her doctoral studies she further expanded her international research experience with a specialized stay in Geneva at the Albert Hirschman Centre for Democracy (IHEID, Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies), contributing to diverse projects focusing on public engagement, democratization and human rights.
- Prior to joining Orkestra, she collaborated with different organizations in the field of International Relations, for instance, one at Ihobe (the Environmental Management Agency of the Basque Government) and another at Globernance (the Institute for Democratic Governance).
