Orkestra's Energy Chair is looking for an Energy Research Assistant to collaborate in the development of research studies and projects on energy issues, supporting the Director of the Chair in Energy and researchers in the implementation of projects and preparing reports and presentations. He/She will also assist in the activities (Workshops/Seminars/Conferences) carried out in the Chair’s fields of knowledge.
The successful candidate will perform analysis related to energy sectors, modelling and forecasting, with a focus on results and in a teamwork environment.
Depending on the candidate’s experience, skills and progress, he/she could attain a higher level of responsibility in the projects.

Requirements
Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably with a specialisation in the field of energy and a good academic record. Holders of degrees in Economics and Business Administration will also be considered.
An advanced level of English; Knowledge of other foreign languages would be an asset.
Computer and project management skills.
Knowledge and/or experience in the field of energy and experience in economic evaluation of projects and/or econometric techniques would be an advantage.
Job-related competences: we seek a person with good interpersonal skills and teamwork capacity, with a focus on planning and project work.

Immediate start the organisation. The contract will be linked to a research project and the salary will depend on the candidates' experience and capabilities.
