Aitziber Elola holds a Degree in Economics from the University of Navarra and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from IESE Business School. Before joining Orkestra as a researcher, she was a lecturer in the Department of Business Organization at the University of the Basque Country.
On a territorial level, her research is centred on the analysis of sectors and clusters, with special focus on global value chains and cluster life cycles. On a business level, in her work she analyses the internationalization of companies and organizational innovations.
She has presented her work at various international forums and has published in international journals such as European Planning Studies, Entrepreneurship & Regional Development, and Small Business Economics.
