Ane Izulain

Researcher

Ane Izulain is a researcher at Orkestra. She holds a PhD in Human Rights from the University of Deusto, a Double Degree in Business Administration and Law from the University of Deusto, a minor in International Law from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, and a Master's degree in Governance and Human Rights from Leuphana University in Lüneburg (Germany).

Before joining Orkestra, Ane spent time at the United Nations Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (Geneva, Switzerland) and developed her international career at ICLEI (Freiburg, Germany), where she worked as a Governance and Social Innovation Technician supporting local governments in their transition to more sustainable development.

Her research focuses on the long-term approach of public policies aimed at competitiveness for well-being, strategic foresight in governments, social values, and the construction of shared visions in the face of complex challenges, articulated through collaborative governance. She has experience in addressing these areas from a multilevel, interinstitutional, and multi-actor perspective, with action research as her main methodological approach.
