Predoctoral researcher
Mikel is a predoctoral researcher and he works in areas related to public policy and business. His research focuses on analyzing the impact of major sociological, economic, and geopolitical transformations in the Basque Country, with a particular emphasis on their implications for territorial development and competitiveness.
Mikel has published in various academic journals and has participated in numerous specialized conferences. He is also consulted as an expert by both the media and various organizations and initiatives involved in territorial, economic, and social analysis.
He is a member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Action Research (IJAR).
Career
- Mikel studied Humanities at the University of Deusto.
- He later earned a Master’s degree in Philosophy of History and World Order from the Autonomous University of Madrid, as well as a Master’s degree in International Relations and Business Diplomacy from the University of Deusto.
- He also completed a research fellowship at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the University of Toronto in Canada.
