Mikel works as a pre-doctoral researcher at Orkestra in the field of territorial development. He is currently studying for a Master's Degree in International Relations and Business Diplomacy at the University of Deusto. His areas of research are political culture, the future of work, paradiplomacy and sub-state intelligence, and he integrates these areas of knowledge in the context of action-research projects for territorial development.
He holds a degree in Humanities (mention in Philosophy) from the University of Deusto and a Master's Degree in Philosophy of History, Democracy and World Order from the Autonomous University of Madrid. During his academic career, he has collaborated in different projects both in the field of hermeneutic philosophy and in the field of strategic foresight and intelligence.
