Orkestra’s new webpage, launched towards the end of June 2015, has managed to position itself during these last five months, in the top 5 of the Google search with regards to “Territorial Competitiveness”. It has also had more than 1,000 publications downloaded and has established new contacts interested in finding out more about the institute’s work through the Orkestra Newsletter.
This communication tool, that is made public by the Basque Institute of Competitiveness, looks to relay its activity and philosophy of Orkestra, an institution that focuses its efforts on supporting territorial development from its diverse socio-economic aspects, by applying transformative research methodology. The new webpage makes it easier to access the work carried out by the team at Orkestra in multiple projects of different research areas.
Orkestra’s web page has received the Buber award (Buber Sariak) in the category of “Internationalisation/Business Project”. Another eight firms also received awards in other categories such as: projects in Basque, free software, gastronomy and tourism, citizen participation, primary agro sector/machine tool and industry, innovative projects, commercial projects and social projects.
