Orkestra's general director took part in the Latin American Cluster Congress held in Colombia from 16th to 19th June.
Organised by the TCI Network, the Congress seeks the exchange of knowledge, experience, results and methodologies in terms of competitiveness, innovation, territorial development and cluster management. Under the title Cluster Ecosystems, challenge for regional competitiveness in Latin America, the congress will answer questions such as: How to generate regional competitiveness on solid bases in order to reach a unique and sustainable strategic position at business, cluster and regional levels, in the context of global markets?
Mari Jose Aranguren gave a paper on “Smart Specialisation Strategies in Practice” which took place on 18th June. This panel also included the following presentations: Frédéric Miribel, member of TCI Network and Aderly - Agencia de desarrollo económico de Lyon (Lyon Economic Development Agency) (Lyon, France) and Catalina Ortiz, Dynamic Ecosystems Platform, Bancoldex (Bogota, Colombia). Additionally, Mari Jose Aranguren chaired the panel on “Generation of Knowledge: Practical Cases Linking Academia with the Private Sector”.
