19th June 2015
Orkestra met in Azpeitita with representatives of the Goierri and Urola Erdia development agencies (Goieki) and Urola Erdia (Iraurgi Berritzen), as well as experts from the Department of Innovation, Rural Development and Tourism of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa in the third session of 2015, of the Ikasgoiraurki project.
The project promotes and invigorates meeting places between different agents of the region of Goierri and Urola Erdia, with the aim of sharing knowledge and getting closer to the reality and needs of the business environment.
The session, held on 19th June, focused on learning more about collaboration between leading and supplier companies, and in this way delving into the reasons why this type of collaboration arises, how it is developed, and what its challenges and key points are.
ModubeModube, Aitzkoate and CAF are some examples of the region of Goierri, where various collaborative projects of this type are found. These three companies shared their experiences, followed by companies from Urola Erdia, some of which have just begun a collaborative process through MunibeGroup, an initiative driven by Iraurgi Berritzen.
Promoting inter-company relationships and collaboration can serve as an incentive and support in order to make progress towards diversification processes aimed at territorial competitiveness, which would almost be impossible to develop otherwise.
In this regard, this action research project, promoted by Orkestra since 2014, has sought to help those agents of the region in boosting this type of relationship. The second phase of this project, which started in 2015, focuses on sharing knowledge between: (1) companies that collaborate on diversification projects, (2) training centres interested in getting involved in territorial development, and (3) agents and members of political parties.
