Interview: James Karlsen, Asociate Professor at the University of Agder and member of Zubigintza
During the last six years, Gipuzkoa Sarean has been a space for the construction of a different way of researching, whose core is formed by the team work of Orkestra and the University of Agder. The Norwegian researcher, James Karlsen, has been linked to the process by helping the researchers lay the methodological foundations and meeting with politicians from the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa from time to time.
Professor Karlsen visited San Sebastián a few weeks ago with the aim of finalising the process of mutual learning between Gipuzkoa Sarean and the Norwegian project SINPRO. During his stay he was interviewed to find out his perspective as a collaborating researcher.
