Senior associated researcher
Pablo Costamagna holds a PhD in Development Studies from the University of the Basque Country. He is the director of the Praxis Institute and the deputy director of the Master's programme in Territorial Development at the Rafaela Regional Faculty of the National Technological University (UTN FRRa). He lectures at the National University of Rafaela (UNRaf) and works as a research associate at the Basque Institute of Competitiveness. He teaches on postgraduate courses at various universities in Latin America and Spain, and has collaborated with international organisations such as ECLAC, the IDB and the ILO, as well as national and subnational governments in several Latin American countries.
He is the author of books, academic articles and popular science pieces, with his most recent publications focusing on capacity building in territories, the state of territorial development policies and territorial innovation systems. Until December 2022, he was also general coordinator of the DETE Network (Territorial Development Network for Latin America and the Caribbean).
