Aitor Sedano currently holds the position of Technician at Orkestra. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics, Empirical Applications and Public Policies, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, both from the University of the Basque Country.

Before joining Orkestra, Aitor worked in strategy and economics consulting at PwC Strategy&, where he developed his technical, project management, and communication skills. During this period, he specialized in projects focused on economic impact studies, macroeconomics, and labor economics.

In the academic field, he has worked on the development and exploration of new methodologies and analytical techniques, seeking to provide innovative, strategic, and impactful solutions. Among his contributions, his Master’s thesis titled The need for requalification in the Spanish labour market: Mapping employment with workplace skills stands out, in which he incorporated the ESCO database. He has also conducted research on macroeconomic models of Input-Output and Social Accounting Matrices (SAM). In addition, Aitor has served as a guest lecturer in the Economics degree program at IE University, teaching sessions on time series analysis applications.

Currently, his goal at Orkestra is to contribute to increasing the impact of research, foster the generation of new knowledge, and carry out technical coordination tasks for projects.
