Predoctoral researcher

Her research focuses on sustainability, energy transition, and territorial productivity, with a particular interest in the role of critical raw materials, green budgeting, and environmentally adjusted productivity.

She has experience in applied economic analysis, public policy, and sustainability, participating in projects related to climate transition, public incentives for sustainable transition, and the evaluation of climate and energy budgets in the Basque Country.

She is currently developing research on the exposure of European regions and sectors to critical raw materials and their implications for productivity and the green transition. Her work also addresses natural capital, energy efficiency, and sustainable transition, integrating perspectives from environmental economics, regional development, and territorial analysis.


Career

  • Economist with a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics

  • Before joining Orkestra, she worked as a project analyst at the Science and Technology Centre of Antioquia (CTA), contributing to initiatives on green growth, climate change adaptation, and territorial sustainability.

  • She has also worked as a lecturer and academic assistant at EAFIT University and Universidad Autónoma Latinoamericana (UNAULA), as well as at Colegio Mayor del Cauca, in areas related to economics, research, and applied analysis.

  • She is currently a PhD candidate in Business and Territorial Competitiveness, Innovation and Sustainability at the University of Deusto

  • Visiting researcher at the OECD Trento Centre for Local Development, where she worked on critical raw materials, regional productivity, and the green transition in Europe.
