Research technician
Sofía has extensive experience in developing international projects and partnerships with multilateral organisations. She has worked as a liaison officer at the Multilateral Department of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Spanish Embassy in Washington D.C. (USA), as an analyst in the World Bank’s Urban and Regional development unit, and as a consultant for various NGOs focusing on international development.
At Orkestra, she combines her international experience with her interest in transformative research processes and qualitative research methodologies, working on projects related to the development of regional and local policies to address critical issues for the Basque country, such as skills and employment policies.
Career
- Sofía holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of the Basque Country (EHU), with a specialisation in international relations from the Berlin School of Economics and Law.
- She also holds postgraduate diplomas in business internationalisation (EHU) and a master’s degree in sustainable tourism and ICT (UOC).
