The internationalization of firms on the new complexity: challenges and opportunities
Introduction
The process of globalization that the world economy has experienced over the past three decades has made internationalization a key strategic decision for firms seeking to remain or become competitive. Furthermore, changes in the international economic scenario, such as the configuration of a multi-polar world with an increasing role being played by the new emerging markets, are having an important impact on how firms design their strategies. The objective of this workshop is to discuss the main challenges and opportunities that the aforementioned changes pose for Basque firms.
