Gender equality is a fundamental human right with important socio-economic implications. This is recognised in the 2030 Agenda -SDG 5: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls- because despite the progress made in this area, it is still necessary to join efforts to adopt measures and initiatives focused on this objective.
The gender perspective is one of the key elements of inclusiveness, which conditions the competitiveness of a territory and is reflected in its wellbeing results. In fact, inclusiveness is a cross-cutting dimension of all the elements that make up our competitiveness framework: the structural context of the territory, its economic-business and wellbeing results, and the dynamic levers where actions and policies can drive change.
On the occasion of International Women's Day, we invite you to read the contributions of our team to reflect about:
Cooperatives as a spearhead in the promotion of women's equality both in the workplace and in society, in general.
The invisibilisation by the power structures of relational practice, which is more typical of women.
The evolution of the integration of women in the labour market and the need to put an end to close the gender gap.
