Davide Parrilli is appointed member of the Regional Studies Association Research Committee

Davide Parrilli, Senior Research Fellow at Orkestra, and Associate Professor at Deusto Business School (DBS), has been appointed as a member of the Research Committee of the Regional Studies Association (RSA). Davide will collaborate with the Committee, formed by outstanding international academics, in the assessment and financing of valuable research projects proposed by members of the RSA association over the next few years.

Around twenty professionals from different European countries participated in the workshop organised by Orkestra, together with Agder Research and the University of Agder (Norway), on Culture-based Rural Development Strategies.

DeustoInvest takes off, within the framework of the Crecer+ platform

On 11th April the first DeustoInvest encounter was held. DeustoInvest is the Deusto Business Alumni´s (DBA) investment club, whose activity is supported by Orkestra’s Crecer+ platform.

Some thirty former students of the Deusto Business School, as well as current students, due to finish their studies this year, participated in the initiative.

The European Commission's Directorate General for Enterprise and Industry, through the RIM Plus project (Regional Innovation Monitor) of which Orkestra takes part, invites to participate in the Europe2020 Regions Policy Workshop, on the 17th April in Brussels.

Orkestra presents the case study on Arauco, Chile in a virtual seminar on the construction of public-private alliances for economic development management

Two Researchers of the Territory, Innovation and Clusters (TIC) Department, Susana Franco and Miren Estensoro, participated in the virtual seminar (webminar) “The construction of public-private alliances for economic development management. Reflections and lessons from the case study on Arauco, Chile”, organised by the Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF) of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) on the 12th March.
