DeustoInvest takes off, within the framework of the Crecer+ platform

On 11th April the first DeustoInvest encounter was held. DeustoInvest is the Deusto Business Alumni´s (DBA) investment club, whose activity is supported by Orkestra’s Crecer+ platform.

Some thirty former students of the Deusto Business School, as well as current students, due to finish their studies this year, participated in the initiative.

The Deusto Business Alumni Association (DBA) made up of alumni from La Comercial, ESTE, DBS and INSIDE, launched DeustoInvest, an investment club that will focus on investment for start-up businesses with high growth potential. Its activities will take place within Orkestra’s Crecer+ platform.

Business Angels Crecer+ on Adegi’s entrepreneurs and investors round table

Lourdes Moreno participated in the round table on entrepreneurs and investors organised by Adegi’s Entrepreneurial forum, in which the platform Crecer+ was presented, explaining the work carried out within this platform as coordinator of the Business Angels Crecer+ network.

Orkestra participates in the 2012 RENT Annual Conference

The 26th RENT Annual Conference (Research in Entrepreneurship and Small Business) took place from 21-23 November 2012 in Lyon, France. Orkestra was represented by Maribel Guerrero, researcher at the Entrepreneurship Department who participated in the round table organized as part of the pre-conference activities: “Is there a need for entrepreneurial universities?” A member of the European Commission and representatives of different European universities participated in the round tables as well. During the conference itself Maribel Guerrero presented the paper Guerrero, M., Peña, I. (2012) “Entrepreneurial experience and firm creation” in the workshop “Corporate Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Organizations”.
