| A graduate of the ESTE (University of Deusto Economics faculty at San Sebastian) and a PhD in Economics and Business Administration of the University of Deusto, Victor Urcelay has been the Dean of the ESTE since 1999. Prior to this, he held other positions of responsibility at this institution: Director of the Marketing Department from 1991 to 1999, of the Marketing Workshop between 1994 and 1998, of the Bank Workshop from 1992 up to this present day and Director of the Department of Marketing, Human Resources and Law between January and September 1999. He is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Marketing, HR and Law and has given courses in the PhD Program of the ESTE and the MBA Executive courses in addition to Financial Marketing in the Marketing Specialty Master. In addition to his teaching activities at the ESTE, Urcelay has given courses at other institutions: French-Spanish Master in Business Management for Groupe ESC-Pau (1991-2000), Master in Management and Commercial Bank Management for the ETEA university in Córdoba (2000), Master in Commercial Bank Management for the UNED (University of Distance Education) - Fundación Universidad Empresa (Business University Foundation), and a Course for the Management of Bank Offices (La Caixa) for INSIDE (International Institute for Company Management) (2001-2002). | |
| His activity has also been focussed on scientific research and dissemination. In this area, between 1992 and 1998 he directed the collection entitled Nuevos enfoques de gestión bancaria (New approaches to Bank Management) by the Maestre publishers. He has written articles that have been published in numerous reviews such as the Boletín de Estudios Económicos (Journal of Economic Studies), Banca-Finanzas (Bank - Finance), Nuevos Enfoques de Gestión Bancaria (New Approaches to Bank Management), Revista UD (Deusto University Magazine), Banking Services in Spain and Esic Market. |
