We influence the strategic and political decisions, the generation of new programs, the awareness of challenges to be faced and the competitive tools available to our territory, through our 5 labs.

 

 

Wellbeing. We look at the challenges related to employment, inclusive and sustainable competitiveness, sustainable development objectives, shared value, from the point of view of firms and foundations, as well as the social progress index.

We work around the various challenges faced by firms to ensure their competitiveness from the point of view of: industry 4.0, skills, vocational training, shared value, business financing, servitisation or the potential of international market niche leaders for territorial competitiveness.

Public Policy & Institutions. We study and evaluate competitiveness policies such as the smart specialisation strategy (RIS3), clusters, innovation, governance, cross-border collaboration or urban competitiveness.

The digital economy from the point of view of the digital transformation and its impact on the competitiveness of the Basque Country. We are implementing an observatory on digitisation that identifies the challenges to be tackled and enables the implementation of strategies in the business and public policy fields.

Energy. We work at the forefront of aspects related to energy challenges and their impact on the competitiveness of the Basque Country. We study the implications of the energy transition or sustainable mobility in its international dimension as well as its local effects.
